Partnerships!

So what do your partnerships looks like exactly?!
We believe that with the things we have been given it is our joy to give back to our community!
This year, we have decided give back to FIVE different Chicago-based nonprofits!
We will be supporting them in two different ways:
-
Financial support- We will donate a base $240 to that specific nonprofit we are featuring as well as $3 for every online sale the two months we feature them.
-
Exposure- We will be releasing a short video at the beginning of each month (February-November) in which we will be giving our customers a little insight into the work that our nonprofit partner is doing. **This has changed with COVID, we no longer will be doing videos but sharing with our email list and social media about who we are supporting.

Greater Chicago Food Depository
The Greater Chicago Food Depository is Chicago’s food bank. We provide food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community.
The Food Depository is part of a united community effort working to bring food, dignity and hope to our Cook County neighbors. We act as the hub for a network of more than 700 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other programs. These programs provide food where it’s most needed. We also address the root causes of hunger. Public benefits outreach and job training programs offer a hand up for our neighbors to overcome poverty.

Little Brothers- Friends of the Elderly (LBFE)
LBFE has been dedicated to relieving isolation and loneliness among Chicago’s elders since 1959.
Women and men 70 and older who are aging alone have a family in Little Brothers. For 60 years now, they have been providing steadfast friendship to thousands of elders who no longer have friends and family to rely on. All of our programs and services are always offered at no cost, and our organization receives no government assistance. They depend on the generosity of donors to bring conversation, companionship, celebration and connection to the elders they serve.

Inspirations Kitchen is part of the umbrella organization called Inspiration Corporation.
They believe in giving people a hand up and not a hand out. That’s why they train low-income and homeless Chicagoans for careers in the foodservice industry in our kitchen. The graduates go on to work at some of the city’s hottest restaurants and catering companies, giving them the opportunity to exit poverty for good.
